Product Introduction
Protein iron succinate is a third-generation ferric iron supplement drug for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia (IDA), which is made of casein acylated with succinic anhydride and chelated with ferric salt (such as FeCl3). Its preparation, protein iron succinate oral solution, has the advantages of high bioavailability and few gastrointestinal adverse reactions. It is used for absolute and relative iron deficiency anemia such as recessive or dominant iron deficiency anemia, pregnancy and lactation anemia caused by insufficient iron intake or absorption disorder, acute or chronic blood loss and infection.
Protein ferric succinate oral solution was obtained the original import registration approval (guoyaozhunzi HJ20160143) in 2016 and the re-registration approval in 2021.
